Copyright Basics

SeleVerse respects intellectual property rights and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable Nigerian copyright law.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on SeleVerse without authorization, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

How to File a Takedown Notice

To submit a copyright takedown notice, send an email to abuse@seleverse.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" and include:

• Your name and contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
• Description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• URL of the infringing content on SeleVerse
• Good faith statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
• Accuracy statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
• Your electronic or physical signature

How to File a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may file a counter-notice. Send an email to abuse@seleverse.com with:

• Your name and contact information
• Identification of the removed content and its URL before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
• Your consent to jurisdiction of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
• Your electronic or physical signature

Repeat Infringer Policy

SeleVerse has a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others will have their accounts permanently terminated. We track copyright violations and act accordingly.

Response Timeline

We review all DMCA notices within 72 hours of receipt. Valid notices result in content removal within 24 hours of review. We notify the content creator of the removal and their right to file a counter-notice.
