Creator Agreement

1. Who Is a Creator

A "Creator" on SeleVerse is any registered user who publishes original content — including voice posts, videos, articles, images, or audio — and may be eligible for monetization features.

This Creator Agreement supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all creators who activate monetization features.

2. Content Ownership and License

You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish on SeleVerse. By publishing content, you grant SeleVerse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Display and distribute your content on the SeleVerse platform
• Use Sele AI to transcribe, translate, and optimize your content
• Promote your content within the platform and in SeleVerse marketing materials
• Create derivative works (translations, summaries) for platform functionality

This license does not give SeleVerse the right to sell your content to third parties or use it outside the platform without your explicit consent.

3. Revenue Sharing Terms

Ad Revenue Share is available to creators with 5,000+ followers. All percentages are of net revenue after payment processing fees.

4. Payment Schedule

Creator earnings are paid monthly, on or before the 15th of each month, for the previous month's earnings. Payments are processed via:

• Flutterwave (mobile money, bank transfer, cards)
• Paystack (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya)
• M-Pesa (East Africa)

Minimum payout threshold: ₦5,000 or equivalent in local currency. Earnings below the threshold roll over to the next month.

5. Content Quality Standards

Monetized creators agree to maintain content quality standards, including:

• Original content — no plagiarism or unauthorized reproduction
• Accurate information — no deliberate misinformation
• Compliance with Community Guidelines
• Transparent disclosure of sponsored or paid content

6. Verification Requirements

To access monetization features, creators must complete identity verification. Journalists seeking Press Verification must additionally submit press credentials for review by Sele Media Africa's editorial team.

7. Suspension and Termination

SeleVerse may suspend or terminate creator monetization access for violations of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or Community Guidelines. Pending earnings at the time of termination will be paid out within 30 days, subject to fraud review.
